I gifted my “Angels on the Street” to a man named Leon; who works for one of our Payroll Clients.
It was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the Payroll for this company was being picked up. The
Lady that picks up the checks came in on her day off to make sure she got all the checks out before the
Thanksgiving holiday. She was telling me about one of her co-workers that was really struggling
financially and wanted to make sure he got his check. He has 6 kids and his wife is currently
unemployed. I thought right away that he could really use the help, so I told her about our Angels on the
Streets and with her help, she arranged for me to meet up with him. I loved seeing his face and how
much he deserved this and how appreciative he was. Every little bit helps when you’re in a time of need.
This made my heart happy and I was very excited and grateful to be a part of this.
