My husband and I were driving to the store and noticed and woman with her child at the corner of the street. She had a sign saying she just lost her job and she was struggling and was just trying to do the best she could. I was compelled to give her the “Angels on the Street” envelope. I was at Smiths getting groceries and noticed a family of four being very careful when putting items in their basket. I sparked up a conversation, asking how much the costs of groceries have gone up this year. They told me it has been a rough time for them financially. I told them about our cause and gave them $100 to help them out. They were very grateful.

At the preschool my kid attends, there’s a 20-year-old Assistant Teacher. We’ll call her Sarah for the sake of privacy. I recently learned that she has to support her younger sisters and pay all the bills. Their mom abandoned them a year ago and is only sporadically heard from. The father is also barely in the picture. They’ve been without heat, having car issues and Sarah was going to have to skip presents for Christmas.

This year I blessed a young lady who was at Walgreen’s pharmacy picking up her daughters prescrption.  She had to pay $10 out of pocket and told the pharmacist that she would need to come back because she didn’t have it.  She proceeded to say that she was going to attempt and ask her neighbor for the money in order to get the antibiotic for her daughter.  I followed her throughout the store and I
