One of my friends works for Risen Savior church. She told me about a single mom who had come in struggling so hard she couldn’t even pay her rent or buy clothes for her 3 children as Christmas gifts. I gave her the $100 toward the clothes and the church helped her pay her rent.

I know this woman whose selflessness shines through daily. She moved back to Albuquerque a couple years ago hoping to help her troubled teenage son. This was a familiar ground for her and she had friends and family here who were willing to lend a hand.
