I have selected Lorena Ruiz as the recipient of Angels in the Street. I met Lorena at church a couple of years ago. This lady is a true professional kindergarten teacher, very passionate about her profession. It was not until two months ago that she received the news that her mother contracted COVID-19. Her mother was hospitalized due to many complications. What she did not know was that the real challenge would begin. Due to her mother’s medical condition and rehabilitation, Lorena resigned from her teaching position. No one can take care of her mom. I have chosen Ms. Lorena Ruiz as Angels in the Street recipient. I personally delivered the envelope to her the day after Thanksgiving. Ms. Ruiz was left with no words. All she wanted me to share was, “Thank you to Payday HCM for being a blessing when I most needed the assistance. May God bless your team and company going forward.”
