When I was given this great opportunity to give $100 to a deserving person or family, I knew exactly who I was going to give the money to. I am a father of three daughters and my oldest daughter has Type 1 diabetes so of course I could have given this $100 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to help battle her disease but instead I gave it to the Make-a-Wish foundation and a little 4 year old girl named Alyianna, who is battling her own life threatening disease. Her wish is to go to DisneyWorld with her family for the Thanksgiving Holiday. My youngest daughter’s daycare, where Alyianna also attends, was holding a Fall Festival to help raise money to make Alyianna’s wish come true. Seeing the joy on this little girls face at the festival brought tears to my eyes knowing that she was making the best of her life in the time that she has left on this earth. My decision was easy to give the $100 to her and her family, so they can enjoy the Magic and Joy that DisneyWorld could bring to this little girl and her family.
